Sunday brunch has to be one of my favourite meals of the week. So how far would I go to seek out a good coffee and a creative dish for breakfast? Shoreditch seems to be the answer this week. Making the 25 minute journey from South West London was well worth it after finding out that Lantana in Fitzrovia has opened a sister restaurant, Salvation Jane.
Both names are derived from hardy Australian plants, which flourished and survived one of the toughest climates in the world after being brought in from South America and England respectively. A fitting metaphore it turned out to be. A little bit of Australia in Fitzrovia has firmly planted its roots into every discerning brunch seaker and sprouted a new bud on the other side of town. This one, Salvation Jane, is set to grow just as wild.
