Ok, so that was slightly over zealous!
What really made this hotel experience was the service, which was absolutely friendly, helpful and attentive. And my opinion is not just based on the fact that every day at 12pm there was a tray of mini Greek cakes offered to everyone lounging around by the pool and the private beach area. Staff really ensured that they attended to your needs, and everything was spotless.
The breakfast was a magnificent buffet feast, with three rows of food to choose from, including freshly made crepes on request.

When there are over four different types of eggs on offer, from omelette, hard boiled, fried or scrambled, you can only imagine the rest of the selection; cured fish, fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurts, home made breads and a lot of other breakfast goodies, not to mention Champagne (!) to spruce up your morning.

With half-board you can also enjoy an A la carte five course dinner menu, which changes every day and will leave you stuffed and satisfied while enjoying some live music (cue the romance songs). Over the two dinners we had at the hotel (the rest were enjoyed in the town and included 'To Kamapiko Taverna' and 'Bizantino'), the food was good, with some courses standing out more than others, like the squid, which was absolutely meaty, fresh and tender.

The 'Lindia' Taverna by the pool area, overlooking the beautiful beach, served a great selection of food for lunch, including the famous Greek Gyros kebabs (succulent and tasty). Highlights were the selection of freshly made Greek dips (great portions served with pita bread) and the massive grilled prawns. I was also very pleased that they were willing to make me watermelon juice which was not on the menu!

There is a bus stop which takes you straight into Lindos town just up by the main road, or a short taxi ride should cost you around 6Euros.
